The Digitalise Your SME grant scheme offers non-repayable grants to help SMEs invest in digital solutions that improve their operational efficiency, bolster resilience, and support customer experience improvements.
The scheme will part-finance investment to encourage SMEs to digitalise their operations, in the aim that this will in turn improve SMEs resilience, efficiency, productivity and customer experience and enhance their product and process design, supply chain management, and after-sales service.
Eligible Expenditure
SMEs can apply for funding to procure:
- Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom software
- Hardware (e.g., laptops, docking stations, monitors, tablets)
- Analytical tools
- Cybersecurity systems
- Cloud computing
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Big data analysis
- Quantum technology
- Routers, switches, and Wi-Fi equipment
- Other digital solutions approved under the scheme
- Installation and training costs related to these technologies
Grant Amount & Aid Intensity
- Minimum grant: €10,000
- Maximum grant: €128,400 (including a 7% flat rate for indirect costs)
- Funding covers up to 50% of eligible costs in Malta and 60% in Gozo
