MMH

The Mediterranean Maritime Hub, nestled into Valletta’s Grand Harbour, is the culmination of a programme of development and investment to make Malta the regional centre for provision of a complete range of service support needed by the marine, oil and gas, fishery, and yacht and superyacht industries in the Mediterranean region.

With a total site area of 170,000m², 1,200m² of linear quaysides and 70,000m² of internal and external storage areas, maintenance workshops, office space and a fully equipped training facility; MMH is purpose-built to provide a wide range of services including rig agency and rig stop services, planning, project recruitment, the contracting of pre-screened and pre-qualified personnel, logistics, facilities provision, supply chain services and project management.

An enormous and constantly on-the-go maritime facility such as MMH is a dynamic client to work with, one that requires practical thinking, and an appreciation for engineering and huge, expensive sea-craft.

Let it never be said that Systemato is a bunch of digital-only geeks; we dove into every corner of the facility as quickly as possible, starting by photographing the Argo, a carbon fibre racing yacht that took home the Multihull Line Honours and smashed the 2021 Rolex Middle Sea Race course record with a time of 33 hours 29 minutes 28 seconds.

From there on, all kinds of fantastic sea-craft continued to sail in.

We run a fairly tight ship ourselves after all, and every month, for MMH, we handle the ideation, creation, design, review and approval process of all marketing messaging, as well as publishing and advertising management of content for the MMH Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as their page on LinkedIn.

Working directly with management in this month-to-month planning gives us a comprehensive understanding of this multifaceted business and the needs of its highly diverse clients, as well as providing us with literally tonnes of excellent material to shoot and film.
